Years ago, I was working full-time while attending University as a full-time student. My nights and weekends were filled with completing chores and assignments yet; I had to find the time to get my hair done which meant spending hours waiting at the salon almost on a weekly basis.  The whole process was becoming frustrating and I was forced to find a way to use my time efficiently. Then I discovered Sisterlocks ®; a low maintenance, versatile, natural hair system that complemented my busy lifestyle. I am in my tenth year of my Sisterlocks ® journey and so far there have been no regrets.

 

Navigating the journey into the amazing Sisterlocks ® world, in my opinion, requires the experience of one who has been on the journey themselves as it allows them to have first-hand knowledge of the different stages of the locking process as well as the challenges that may arise at each stage. Aside from my personal experience, I have the requisite training and mentorship support that helps me to better serve my clients.

My journey permitted me to embrace an authentic expression of myself by promoting the wear of my natural hair. The journey has been liberating to say the least and I invite you, if your soul has been so stirred to come on this experience which will no doubt give you an authentic expression of who you were created to be at the core- a Sista.
