Consultation

Hair must always be freshly washed at least one day before consultation. Please do not blow dry your hair or add any grease, oils, gels, jams or butters. Your consultation will be rescheduled, if any of these products or any other products are used prior to your appointment

 

Establishment

Hair should be clean and product free when your Sisterlocks ® is being established. Clients are encouraged to walk with reading materials, electronic devices, pillows, blankets, snacks or anything that will make the process more comfortable. Please note that the approximated time for establishment is 2-3 days. However, variables such as hair length, density and number of hours worked per day.

 

Follow-up Visits

Retightening is typically every 4-6 weeks. Not observing this time frame may result in an additional cost as more time will be spent in your head due to excessive growth. Additionally, not staying on schedule may result in breakage, matting and other unfavorable outcomes- which Royal Rootsz will not be held liable for. Hair should be freshly washed, and hair separated prior to appointment. Frequent cancellation of appointments, no-shows and being non compliant to maintenance instructions given by your Consultant may result in the client being released from Royal Rootsz.

 

Grooming and Repairs

These services attract an additional fee and may require a separate session which will be priced at an hourly rate.

 

Payment

Acceptable forms of payment.

To secure your establishment appointment you are required to make a nonrefundable deposit prior to establishment date. The additional amount should be paid upon the first day of your establishment.

 

Cancellation, No-Show & Tardiness

When an appointment is forgotten or cancelled without giving enough notice, the opportunity is missed to fill that appointment time, and other clients may miss the opportunity to receive services. Appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because it can be quite easy to forget an appointment.  It is understood that sometimes schedule adjustment is necessary; therefore a 24-hour notice is respectfully requested. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee which will, in addition to your regular service charge, will be collected at the beginning of your next appointment.

 

No-Show attracts a penalty and may result in the termination of the consultant-client relationship.

Clients, who are 30 minutes late for an appointment, may be asked to reschedule their appointment.  (Conditions apply)
